Sofia and Ann

Sofia Pernas was born in Morocco and moved to California at age five. Her family lived mainly in Orange County. Her breakthrough came in acting when she graduated from University of California San Diego in the year 2015. Pernas was a popular actress who made brief appearances on NCIS as well as Leverage prior to landing the role of Marisa on The Young and the Restless, was a familiar name on the soap. After leaving the soap opera in 2016 the actress scored the role of a regular on Jane the Virgin as Catalina. The actress who is multi-lingual has appeared on The Brave, The Green Ghost as well as Secret Society of Second Born Royals. From 2019 to 2020, she was Lexi Vaziri in Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas has been dating Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. The couple began dating following The This Is Us star split from wife Chrishell Stause in November of this year. News came out the following month that Pernas and Hartley were recently married in a secret ceremony.
