Dua Lipa is an English performer and songwriter from England who was born on August 22nd, 1995 in London United Kingdom. After working as a fashion model, she decided to join Warner Bros Records and release her first album. The album climbed to number 3 on the U.K. Charts and produced eight singles. They included Be the one I.D.G.A.F, the U.K. Number One single New Rules as well as the U.K. No. 1 single New Rules. Lipa received her Brit Awards in 2018 for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. Her album has been certified platinum in several countries worldwide. Dua Lipa, born to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa A Rexha Lipa and Dukagjin Dukagjin in London on August 22, 1995. By her maternal grandmother, Dua Lipa is Bosnian origin. It is possible to trace her ancestors all the way back to Peja, which was a city within Kosovo. Lipa's grandfathers were both historians. Her sisters are Rina and Gjin.
