Allison Stokke and Alyce Caron

Allison Stokke, born in Newport Beach, California on 22 March 1989, is one of the most well-known and wealthy Pole Vaulters. She began her career as a pole-jumper in 2007 after a picture of her at a track meet when she was 17. Instagram and Twitter are among her most liked social media sites. Stokke is a well-known for her track and field performance, as is Jessica Ennis Hill. Los Angeles Times and others noted that Stokke was not one to seek out and encourage this kind of the attention. Brett Hutchins and David Rowe in Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society connected Stokke's case to that of American soccer athletes Alex Morgan and Hope Solo. Both women were alleged to have been sexually assaulted and their public image was framed in a way that the authors claimed to diminish the accomplishments of the athletes. Stokke was also a target of sexist comments on social media and the authors attributed the entire process of sexualizing the women. Many drew a comparison with Brandi's victory celebration at the FIFA World Cup Final 1999 wearing a sports t-shirt. Sports events for women were often overshadowed due to the debate over their appearance. Photos of Stokke performing during New York early 2007, were posted on the web by an Californian journalist for a track and field website. In May, the photo was then re-posted by With Leather a sports blog that has a huge male audience remarking on the attractiveness of the 17-year-old Stokke under the headline Pole Vaulting is Sexy Barely Legal. Matt Ufford had threatened to sue the photographer for not taking down the photo. However, the news story had popular and been receiving a lot of interest. Stokke had a site dedicated to her with images of her at the pole vault. When these images spread across social media, they were viewed by thousands. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. She wanted to graduate from Florida High School. This internship was the initial step in her new career when she finished high school. Alyce's proud of being the sister of a college professor. Her family is supportive of her sister, who works as an instructor at a college. Alyce and her family live in Texas since her father is a soldier in the U.S. Army. They celebrated their father's 92nd Birthday three years earlier. Alyce posted a photo of her daughter's beautiful face on the internet, in recognition of her father's contributions in his country through the U.S. Army. Alyce also motivates her daughter to be focused on her education. She has been awarded the National Merit Award from the University, and will celebrate her 22nd Birthday in 2022.
